With over thirty years’ teaching experience
many quality videos have been collected and
recently digitised for online access. They fall in
to two broad categories, both of which are
available to members of VCSO.
‘Old’ videos
These are sound educational videos that were produced and
broadcast in the 1990s. Having been digitised, a small element of
the quality of broadcast has been lost, but none of the
educational value.
There are videos for KS1 that cover from bikes to bricks to busy
bodies and from weetabix to windmills to woodland. They vary in
length from seven minutes to 15 minutes and can all be watched
online.
There are also a series of LandMarks videos which were produced
by BBC Schools. They include a wide range of subjects from
deserts to docks to dairy farming and from rainforests to refuse
to renewable energy.
